Algebra II Update for December 10, 2001 17. Journal Prompt for the Week of December 10, 2001: What one thing would you like to see on the final, if you choose to take it? Why? What one thing would you like NOT to see on the final? Why? Your 2nd Quarter Portfolio is due before 3:47 pm on Friday, December 14, 2001. This Portfolio should have the Checklist in the front, and then the 5 items, in order for this Portfolio, including the Complete Journal Writings (1-17). Each item should have a unique Cover Instrument (CI). In back should be the 1st Quarter Midterm Portfolio, in order. Half of your Total Grade for the Quarter in this class will come from the average of this Portfolio, and the last one. It might be wise to have me look at one or two items in your Portfolio before you finish it since we will not have the chance to correct it. All items in this Portfolio should come from the Fodder list (below). Place the Portfolio IN MY HAND when you are finished with it. Fodder: The following items qualify for use in this Portfolio, if you have done them and turned them in to be graded. Journal (writings 1-17) = Journal Solving Linear Equations Review WS and/or Factoring Worksheet ACHOOO! Practice 21, 22, 23, 25, and/or P27-P28-P29 Quiz Chapter 4 - Part I and/or Part II Pendy with TII Ball Bounce I and/or Ball Bounce II Quadratics - Vertex Form - Worksheet One or all as one item: Page 148, Sections 4.2 and 4.3, Section 4.2, Section 4.3, and/or Real World Problems from Chapter 5 Other work from Algebra II, as you think appropriate (and have approved by me). You should have done the following: - Written in your Journal. - Turned in Section 5.1, start the Problems: P.189 #17, P.191 #28, P.197 #6, P.198 #25, P.203 #12, P.210 #14, P.211 #15-16-17, P.218 #10-11, P.219 #26-27-28. - Turned in Ball Bounce II. - Turned in Web Quadratic - Vertex Form. - Explored Web Quadratic - Polynomial Form. - Turned in Pick 20 from Practice 27, 28, and 29.
