Algebra II Update for September 17, 2001 5. Journal Prompt for the Week of September 17, 2001: Reflect on your first Portfolio for Algebra II. What was the hardest part? The easiest? How did you do? Your Portfolio was due on Friday September 14th. If you failed to turn it in, please turn it in as soon as possible. Remember the 7% discount rule, and the fact that one-half of the MidTerm Progress Report grade comes from this Portfolio, with the other half coming from the first examination. Once you get your Portfolio back you will need to look it over, and calculate your grade on it. Email me what grade you calculated and what you calculate for your MidTerm average. Recall that you may correct this Portfolio if you wish. This should be done by Thursday and include a note to me about what you want re-graded. You should have done the following: - Written in your Journal. - Taken the TUG-K assessment of Graphing (5th only). - Taken the Guessing Correlations, on line test. - Checked your grades on GradeViewer. - Turned in you Portfolio. - Turned in Practice 11. - Read Sections 2.4-2.5.
