APCSA Update for September 17, 2001 5. Journal Prompt for the Week of September 17, 2001: Reflect on your decision to make, or not make, an electronic Portfolio. Explain why you made your choice, and discuss if you will continue on this track. Your Portfolio was due on Friday September 14th. If you failed to turn it in, please turn it in as soon as possible. Remember the 7% discount rule, and the fact that the MidTerm Progress Report grade comes from this Portfolio, with the other half of your 1st Quarter grade coming from the next Portfolio. Once you get your Portfolio back you will need to look it over, and calculate your grade on it. Email me what grade you calculated. Recall that you may correct this Portfolio if you wish. This should be done by Thursday and include a note to me about what you want re-graded. You should have done the following: - Written in your Journal. - Explore the Chapter 3 book programs. - Finished One Quiz, Corrected and Reflected on it. - Looked at the Book's programs for Chapter 3. - Checked your grades on GradeViewer. - Turned in your 1st Quarter MidTerm Portfolio. This week: # Write in your Journal. # Come to know when your NEXT Portfolio is due. # Explore the Chapter 4 book programs. # Finish Chapter 3. # Check your grades on GradeViewer. # Calculate your Portfolio grade, and your MidTerm average and then email it to me. # Correct your MidTerm Portfolio and return it to me with a note about what to regrade by Thursday. # Read Chapter 4. # Examination I. # C++ Library.
