AlgConn Update for the week of December 13, 1999 20. Journal Prompt for the Week of December 13, 1999: What do you plan to do over the break to learn more about Algebra? Why? Your 2nd Nine Weeks Portfolio was due Friday December 10, 1999. If you did not turn it in, you should do so as soon as possible. You will get a 7% reduction per day late on this grade. If you did turn in your Portfolio you will get it back on Monday. When you get it back, look over it and make sure you understand why you made the scores that you did. If you think I made a mistake, let me know. You will need your Portfolio for the Final Examination, and for the next semester, so keep it in a safe place. Calculate your grade and email it to me. This week: # Review for the Final Examination. # Write in your Journal. # We will meet in Lab 1 (Library Annex) on Monday. # We will meet in Lab 3 (Ms. Davis) on Tuesday and for your Final Examination. If you think you are exempt, make sure that I agree. # Check your grades on the Grade Viewer. Remember that your TOTAL grade in this class for the 9 weeks comes from your Portfolio. Look at your assignments. # If you don't have a Graphing Calculator, you need to get one. # Please note that the announcements have a listing of which computer labs are open and when, and where you can locate Graph Links to use around the building. If you have questions or need some help, please see me, or one of your fellow students. See the Syllabus for information on how to get outside of class help. DAY -- David A.
