7. Journal Prompt for the Week of September 20, 1999: 
Free Write (Note: Occasionally you will be given a "Free Write" prompting you to write about your current thoughts as they relate to Algebraic Connections.) 

Your PrePortfolio is due Monday September 20. You should place it in your folder, with the CheckList first (with your name and Period on the form) and then have the 7 items, in order, following. Each item should have a Cover Instrument (CI). Remove all excess materials and place it in my hand by the end of the day Monday. You may turn the PrePortfolio in late with the 7% per day discount. Your Progress Report Grade will come totally from your Portfolio. 

This week: 
  

* Turn in your Pre-Portfolio. 
* Finish up and turn in OOB2000. 
* Continue work on the PreTest, POST review. 
* Go to the Computer Lab: Monday (9-20 room 2204) for Lab Visit IV, and Tuesday (9-28 room 2204) for Lab Visit VI. 
* FLASH your calculator to the current OS, or to another language (TI-83 Plus, or TI-89 only). 
* Check your grades on the Grade Viewer 
* Set your GW password and Email me from Home (or other location) using the Internet (http://gw.fayar.net). 
* Write in your Journal. 
* Place things in you H:/ drive (Home Directory). 
* Email me your grade on your PrePortfolio when you get it back, and after you have examined it. Place it in the classroom for safe keeping when you are done. 
* Finish 70a,b (TV Ratings) - Part II. 
* Books are still in the queue, they are still debating price.
