The goals of this investigation are to continue to explore the Internet as a resource for your study of mathematics and to become more aware and comfortable with the interface between the Internet and various applications (Graph Link, P-Mail, Word, and your calculator).

1. Locate a TI-83 or TI-82 program on the Internet (try locations below, or search for others using the tools at http://fasst.fayar.net/search_me.htm or http://172.16.62.219/search_me.htm) that you think would help you with the study of Algebra 1.
   
2. Send the name of the program and location (URL) to me dayoung@ecs1.nwsc.k12.ar.us to get my approval.
   
3. If you receive approval, download the program on to your disk or to your ECS1 folder. If I reject the program, GOTO step I.
   
4. Use Graph Link to get the program into your calculator.
   
5. Run the program on your calculator and document the products (save/print screens, output, lists, etc.).
   
6. In Word, write-up the Investigation explaining where you found the program (URL and location name), how the program works and what it does (include products here), and comments on the process of getting the program from the Internet into your calculator.
   
7. Provide me, on disk or as an Email attachment, the program (*.83p, or *.82p), and the Word write-up. Due the week of January 18, 1999.
