Dear Students and Parents:

Mathematics classes require calculators. For graphing calculators we suggest the TI83 or TI82, if you already have one. To make it possible for everyone to have access to these at school and at home, we offer a one-year leasing program. The leasing prices are $30.00 and $25.00 respectively. If you think you are interested, please pick up an application in your mathematics classroom. The supply is limited so return the form to your teacher as soon as possible. If needed, financial assistance is available.

We have a study lab open every Monday and Tuesday during Activity Period in Room 3304. Two or three teachers are available to help students with any difficulties they are having in their math classes. The center is open the last twenty minutes of Activity Period. It is a good place to work on homework. If you have been absent, you can get help to catch up on missed work. In case of legitimate conflicts, math teachers are willing to work individually with students provided a time can be worked out that is convenient to both.

TESTS ARE NOT MADE UP DURING CLASS TIME. Make-up tests are given for all math classes every Wednesday at the beginning of Activity Period and on Thursday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Again in case of legitimate conflicts, other arrangements are possible but must be worked out with your classroom teacher.
