David  A. Young (dayoung7@gmail.com) spent the 2003-2004 as the Teacher In Residence (TIR) at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville as part of the National Science Foundation (NSF) collaboration with the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) in their Physics Teacher Education Coalition (PhysTEC) program. Mr. Young was the District Mathematics Coordinator with the Fayetteville Schools until he took a two-year leave of absence to develop the Mathematics Computer Lab at ASMSA (the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences in Hot Springs). He then returned to FHS to establish the FASST program at Fayetteville High School.
